Procurement Method: Partially managed by Client using main builder for most of the works supplemented by appointing individual subcontractors and purchasing high value materials direct from suppliers.
Construction Technique: Mass concrete trench fill foundations with a solid concrete ground floor structure, load bearing masonry full fill cavity & timber frame external walls finished in Monocouche render, larch cladding & stunning Manx stone. Windows, doors and facias are all anthracite grey along with slate to the main roof resulting in a very sharp, modern structure which was a stand-out dwelling in the road.

The barn had been un-used for many years and was in a terrible state, the change of use along with various extensions and alterations has transformed the structure into a contemporary family home. The internal spaces are vast with high ceilings and stunning views across the beautiful Manx countryside. The finished design has created a very efficient property with walls up to 800mm thick! The main features include a large open plan kitchen living area with raised ceiling heights and full width glazed façade leading out onto large patio areas and aspect onto a mature garden. We have incorporated spacious en-suites, balconies and vaulted ceiling to all first-floor bedrooms resulting in a stunning forever family home for our clients.
